The London NYC has become part of Hilton's Conrad Hotels & Resorts portfolio, as of this month. The 562-room hotel will be reflagged as the Conrad New York Midtown following a renovation to be completed by spring 2019.

The work will include a complete transformation of all guest rooms, corridors and public spaces, and will introduce a new upscale dining concept. When the project is completed, the hotel also will have 24-hour in-room dining, a large fitness facility and 4,798 square feet of flexible meeting space.

"The Hilton luxury brand flagships are fortunate to call New York City home, and we couldn't be more thrilled to expand our footprint in Manhattan with our second Conrad property," said John Vanderslice, global head of Conrad Hotels & Resorts. "The London NYC represents a modern interpretation of luxury at an unrivaled address in one of the world's most dynamic cities. We are committed to redefining the midtown hospitality experience and delivering a world of style and smart luxury for today's traveler."

Conrad New York Midtown will become the luxury brand's second property in New York City; the Conrad New York in lower Manhattan opened in 2012.
