Shareholders of MGM Mirage approved a company name change yesterday to MGM Resorts International. The new name "better represents the global presence our company has today," said chairman and CEO Jim Murren in a statement. The company also announced it would relaunch its Players Club loyalty program as M Life, which will allow frequent customers to create a more customized program and benefits dependent on their priorities. M Life is slated for a late summer rollout in the company's U.S. regional markets, with a fall debut in Las Vegas. The company didn’t offer details on whether the program will extend to its international properties.
