Mandarin Oriental Bodrum will open in 2014 on a 150-acre waterfront site on the Bodrum Peninsula, also known as the Turkish Riviera. The 102 guest rooms will provide sun decks and terraces, and many also will offer private gardens and infinity pools. Mandarin Oriental will manage 214 luxury private homes in the same development. Six restaurants and bars will be on-site, as well as a Mandarin Oriental Cake Shop. Meeting facilities include a 135-seat ballroom and five event rooms. A nearly 30,000-square-foot spa is being built on a secluded hillside overlooking a private beach and will include 10 treatment rooms, an indoor pool and a salon. The resort will cover more than a mile of shoreline featuring three private bays, a beach club with yacht moorings and a sports center.
