Liliesleaf Farm, Nelson Mandela's secret refuge before he was arrested and imprisoned on political charges, is being developed into a 48-room boutique hotel, according to reports in the Daily Mail (U.K.) and Bloomberg.com. The Mail article reported that construction on the property in Rivonia, South Africa, a town north of Johannesburg, will begin in June, with the opening slated for September 2011.
