Last week, Hollywood, Fla., city commissioners voted unanimously to approve plans for a $100 million tropical-themed Margaritaville resort. City leaders and project developers will negotiate for 90 days on the precise blueprints of the project; if negotiations fail, the city can opt to enter talks with Planet Hollywood, whose proposal for a resort was the next most popular.
