Four properties have joined Autograph Collection Hotels, Marriott International's portfolio of upscale, independent hotels. The properties are: the Saint Hotel Key West in Key West, Fla.; Q&C Hotel and Bar in New Orleans (pictured); Hotel Nassau Breda in Breda, The Netherlands; and the Inn at Bay Harbor in Bay Harbor, Mich.
The Saint Hotel Key West is one of the oldest operating hotels in Key West; formerly known as the Southern Cross Hotel, it joins the Autograph Collection following a $22 million purchase and renovation that was completed in February 2015. The property has 36 guest rooms, an infinity pool with a waterfall, a signature bar and restaurant, and a 75-person balcony with regularly scheduled live music.
Located between the French Quarter and the Central Business District, the Q&C Hotel and Bar is more than 100 years old. The 196-room property joins the Autograph Collection following a complete renovation in 2014 and features three boutique event spaces: the Den, which at 256 square feet includes premium leather furniture and a wet bar for a casual cocktail reception; the Library, which has 330 square feet designed for small business meetings or gatherings; and the Whiskey Room, which totals 180 square feet and has a communal harvest table and a craft cocktail bar, and is adjacent to an open kitchen.
Hotel Nassau Breda opened last month on one of the Netherlands city's oldest streets. Comprised of what used to be three houses for noblemen, a convent, and a chapel, it was converted to a hotel with 95 guest rooms, a fine-dining restaurant and eight meeting spaces totaling 5,134 square feet.
Finally, the Inn at Bay Harbor on Lake Michigan's Little Traverse Bay has 123 one-, two- and three-bedroom suites; a full-service spa and salon; a lakeside restaurant; a golf course and club, and 6,600 square feet of meeting space.
"We are very pleased to welcome these four properties to our rapidly growing and diverse global portfolio," said Julius Robinson, vice president and global lead, Autograph Collection Hotels. "Exactly like nothing else, each destination has been thoughtfully selected for its bold originality, rich character and uncommon details."
