Marriott unveiled its Innovention Network last week, a collection of 60 of the company's largest convention hotels and resorts. The Innovention Network website offers the ability to search by location, total meeting space, largest ballroom needed, peak rooms, or golf and spa amenities. Other features of the new network include a streamlined billing system and shared meeting records among all member hotels. New procedures facilitate communication among customers, event managers and general managers, including a post-event wrap-up that is stored in the system for future reference.
