The 86-room Miraval at Natirar, a luxury resort and spa, will open in 2014 on the Natirar estate in Somerset County, N.J. The resort will be the first East Coast outpost of the Tucson, Ariz.-based Miraval Resort & Spa; the company is considering other sites for expansion in the U.S. When complete, Miraval at Natirar will offer a 20,000-square-foot spa, a 10,000-square-foot wellness pavilion, a 4,000-square-foot yoga center, a spa restaurant featuring Miraval spa cuisine, and meeting rooms. The Natirar estate also houses the Ninety Acres Culinary Center, which includes a culinary education facility as well as Ninety Acres, a celebrated farm-to-table restaurant that sources ingredients from its own 12-acre sustainable farm.
