The 397-room Loews Regency Hotel in New York City will reopen Jan. 16, 2014, following a $100 million facelift of its guest rooms and public spaces, as well as its four meeting rooms. The hotel, which features a fitness center and a salon and spa, will open a new restaurant that will be managed by New York restaurateurs Gherardo Guarducci and Dimitri Pauli of the Sant Ambroeus Hospitality Group.The Midtown Manhattan hotel was built in 1963 and is the flagship of Loews Hotels & Resorts.
