A new Hyatt House extended-stay hotel has opened in Naples, Fla. The waterfront property on the Gordon River, the city's first new hotel in more than eight years, is within walking distance of downtown Naples, including the revitalized 5th Avenue South shopping district.
The Hyatt House Naples/Fifth Avenue has 183 residentially inspired guest rooms -- including 120 suites with full kitchens -- and 3,160 square feet of meeting space.
On the food-and-beverage front, offerings include a fresh food market, complimentary grocery service for guests who want to utilize their in-suite kitchens, complimentary breakfast and a full-service restaurant -- not to mention specialized culinary programming such as take-and-go gourmet picnics, catch-and-cook fishing experiences and create-your-own-Moscow-Mule options.
Other amenities include a fitness studio with a "cardio theater" offering views of the surrounding marina; a resort-style, zero-depth-entry pool that also features marina views; a hot tub; an outdoor grilling area; a marina concierge who can help guests rent boats, kayaks, and paddle boards; and dock slips for boaters.
