Construction has started on Marriott's first-ever hotel to contain three of its brands in a single building. In Nashville's SoBro neighborhood, the 470-room, $137 million property is expected to open midyear in 2018. The L-shaped, 21-story building, being developed by Atlanta-based North Point Hospitality, will contain a 209-room AC Hotels by Marriott in one wing, and both a 125-room SpringHill Suites by Marriott and a 136-room Residence Inn by Marriott sharing the adjoining wing. While further details were unavailable, plans call for a large pool, a state-of-the-art fitness center and a large conference space on the top floor, serving all three brands.

"Developers can target multiple consumer segments while benefitting from significant construction and cost synergies. Hotel guests are offered a wider range of options to serve all of their travel needs."
