Hilton Hotels will debut its flagship brand in Chile in the form of the 401-room Hilton Santiago Las Condes. The property will be part of the US$200 million Parque Arauco Kennedy Shopping Mall complex, on which construction will begin next year and should be completed in 2021.

The hotel will feature a convention center with more than 32,000 square feet of flexible space, suitable for more than 2,800 attendees. Amenities will include two restaurants and three bars; a spa with an indoor heated pool; an outdoor pool with a sky bar; a fitness center, and an executive lounge. Outdoor gardens on the seventh-floor terrace will offer views of the expansive Parque Araucano.

"With its diverse tourism and cultural attractions, Chile is an exciting new destination for Hilton as we expand our global portfolio," said Hilton's Shawn McAteer, vice president, global brand management, full-service hotels. The hotel is one of more than 50 that Hilton has in its pipeline for Latin America. The hospitality company has more than 90 hotels currently open in the region.
