Local news outlets are reporting that MetroNational, a Houston-based real estate investment company, is negotiating with Z Resorts to build a second Hotel Zaza in the Memorial City district of the Texas city. The hotel would operated and managed by Z Resorts, whose other properties are the Hotel ZaZas in Houston's Museum District, with 315 rooms and 16,000 square feet of meeting space, and in Dallas, with 153 rooms and 7,000 square feet of meeting space. The new hotel, whose details have not been announced, would join the 285-room Westin Memorial City in the district.
