The 264-room Omni Hotel at the Battery Atlanta has opened, the official hotel of the Atlanta Braves. The property is part of the Battery Atlanta, a mixed-use complex that features baseball's SunTrust Park, the Coca-Cola Roxy music venue, shopping outlets, restaurants and office space.
"We are thrilled to welcome the local community to experience our newest destination," said Jim Caldwell, CEO of Omni Hotels & Resorts. "We are proud to partner with the Atlanta Braves on this landmark project and honored to join the community within the Battery Atlanta. It has been a pleasure partnering with Terry McGuirk and the Atlanta Braves organization to bring the vision of this hotel to life."

Shades of red and blue inspired by Braves' colors can be found throughout the hotel. Room numbers are branded into wood paneling like logos on a baseball bat, and framed antique scouting reports add to the theme. The property features more than 20,000 square feet of meeting space, including a 5,344-square-foot grand ballroom, a presidential suite with a private terrace, and a fifth-floor pool deck with views of SunTrust Park's home plate. Achie's restaurant by chef Hugh Acheson serves Southern-inspired fare.

"Omni Hotels & Resorts and TRT Holdings have been a pleasure to work with as our official hotel partner in Atlanta," said McGuirk, chairman and CEO of the Braves. "The Battery Atlanta and SunTrust Park are important economic engines for our region, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors every year. Now visitors and local Braves fans can stay the night in the Battery Atlanta to enjoy even more of what this special place has to offer."
