The 230-room Renaissance Denver Downtown City Center has opened in the historic Colorado National Bank building. The property, whose lobby features 16 murals painted for the bank in 1925 by Allen Tupper True, offers 6,000 square feet of meeting space, including three bank vaults for small gatherings. The restaurant, Range, focuses on local ingredients and "new American West" cuisine. The Teller Bar sits where the bank tellers once handled customers, and its drink menu highlights Countinghouse, a pre-Prohibition-style cream ale created for the hotel by Denver brewery Former Future.
