The Pool Adolphus has opened on the rooftop at the 407-room Adolphus Hotel in Dallas, with views of the city's downtown skyline.

The addition of the seventh-floor pool and bar is the final phase of a renovation to the beaux arts property, which was built in 1912 and opened by Adolphus Busch of the St. Louis beer family; the hotel's 24,000 square feet of meeting space was refreshed last year.

The new pool deck is available for events and features a fire pit, semi-submerged lounge chairs and six private cabanas that can be rented out. The space can be reserved for a dinner for up to 125 people or a reception of 175.

Other dining areas at the Adolphus include the elegant French Room restaurant; the Bistro, which serves breakfast; the Lobby Living Room, which offers traditional English afternoon tea Friday through Sunday; and the Rodeo Bar & Grill, serving Southwestern dishes.
