The 321-room Sheraton Brooklyn has debuted, becoming the first full-service property to open in the New York City borough in more than 12 years, according to Starwood Hotels & Resorts. The 25-story hotel offers 4,300 square feet of meeting space, the Link@Sheraton connectivity hub in the lobby, a 24-hour fitness center, and the Grubstake Restaurant and Bar. A 2,000-square-foot rooftop lounge featuring a 1,500-square-foot patio will open later this year. This fall, Starwood also will open two more properties -- an Aloft hotel next door to the Sheraton Brooklyn, and the Sheraton Tribeca New York Hotel.
