The 117-room Mining Exchange, a Wyndham Grand Hotel in Colorado Springs, Colo., has opened 57 of its rooms in what was once the local stock exchange. A $30 million renovation continues at the adjacent Independence and Freeman-Telegraph buildings, which will house the extra 60 rooms. When all work is finished, the property will have 10,000 square feet of meeting space; a spa will open by the end of the summer.
