The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co. has taken over management of the 250-room Al Bustan Palace in Muscat, Oman. The property has five meeting rooms, 200 acres of landscaped gardens and a private beach. Other facilities include five swimming pools, a spa, a water sports center, tennis facilities and seven restaurants. The hotel, which originally was built to host the Gulf Cooperation Council Summit in 1985, recently underwent a multimillion-dollar interior and exterior renovation. It was formerly managed by InterContinental Hotels & Resorts.
