The 400-room Omni Houston Hotel at Westside, which closed in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey, is once again available for booking. However, the property's restaurant, meetings space and health club remain closed pending refurbishment due to storm-related damage.

The hotel offers limited amenities at present, including complimentary continental breakfast; all facilities are expected to be in place and operational beginning Nov. 9. Under normal circumstances, the property, which is 16 miles from downtown Houston, offers 25,000 square feet of meeting space, dining at the Café on the Lake, drinks at the Black Gold Bar, and a 24-hour fitness center.

Omni Hotels & Resorts' other area property, the 378-room Omni Houston Hotel in the Uptown Post Oak/Galleria area, remains closed after flood waters reportedly reached at least the second floor. Restorations are underway and the hotel is expected to reopen in early 2018. The property features two outdoor swimming pools; dining at the Noé Grill, the Black Swan and the Café on the Green, and relaxation the 7,100-square-foot Mokara Spa. On-site meeting space totals 30,000 square feet. For inquiries regarding existing reservations, call 1-888-444-6664.
