Orlando-area hotels saw the destination's highest-ever revenue per available room (RevPAR) in 2013, according a report cited by the Orlando Sentinel. Last year, the figure hit $72.04, up 7.8 percent year-over-year, and slightly higher than the previous record of $71.79, which was set in 2007 at the pre-recession height of the local hotel market.
