The 134-room Red Roof Inn at International Drive in Orlando has been rebranded as the Midpointe Hotel Orlando Convention Center. The property, which was acquired last year by Rosen Hotels & Resorts, is next to another property owned by the company, the 1,334-room Rosen Centre Hotel. The larger property, which offers 150,000 square feet of meeting space, is connected to the Orange County Convention Center.
The Midpointe recently completed a guest-room renovation, bringing in new décor and furnishings, including the addition of desk chairs, new mini refrigerators and 32-inch flat screen TVs. The lobby, grounds and parking areas also have been upgraded. The hotel has free WiFi and complimentary transportation to Universal Orlando Resort.

"With the phenomenal success of the International Drive area, the timing was right," said Harris Rosen, president and COO of Rosen Hotels & Resorts. "The location next to Rosen Centre makes it quite convenient for our long-time trained hotel associates to expand their operations and assist in managing the properties."
