Overseas Hotels Show Increases in Major Metrics Over Past Year
July 2015 performance data compiled by STR Global (www.strglobal.com) shows that Asia Pacific, Europe and the Middle East/Africa markets all had increases in occupancy, average daily rate (ADR) and revenue per available room (RevPAR) compared to July 2014.
Asia Pacific had a 2.1 percent increase in occupancy to 70.7 percent, a 1.1 percent increase in ADR to $105.12 and a 3.2 percent increase in RevPAR to $74.34.
Europe saw a 5.1 percent increase in occupancy to 77.3 percent, a 8 percent increase in ADR to $131.93 and a 13.5 percent rise in RevPAR to $101.92.
The Middle East/Africa region saw a 12.1 percent increase in occupancy to 55.1 percent, a 5.3 percent jump in ADR to $159.10 and an 18.1 percent increase in RevPAR to $87.69.
