Pan Pacific Hotels Group has opened a new global sales office in Beijing to support its Shanghai office and help grow its share of the growing Chinese travel market. Over the past year, Singapore-based PPHG has sealed several development deals to expand its luxury portfolio in China. The 319-room Pan Pacific Hotel and Serviced Suites is scheduled to open later this year in Tianjin, and two more hotels projects are in the pipeline, in Chengdu and Zhuhai. "The opening of our new global sales office in Beijing marks the latest in the group's recent chain of developments in China, made in strategic response to the global importance and vast potential of the country's domestic and outbound travel market," said Kevin Croley, senior vice president, marketing and sales, of PPHG, in a statement.
