RockResorts, a subsidiary of Vail Resorts, has welcomed Park City's 212-room Grand Summit Hotel into its portfolio following a $15 million renovation.
"We are thrilled to debut the transformational renovation at the Grand Summit, which has brought the hotel up to the same caliber as the world-class resort that's just steps away from the property," said Ron Neville, vice president of hospitality for Vail Resorts, which owns Park City Mountain. "We're looking forward to continuing to deliver extraordinary service and experiences to our guests at the Grand Summit."
The Grand Summit's 212 suites now feature new interior finishes, furnishings, soft goods, appliances, artwork and technology. The property's lobby and front desk were redone, the on-site spa was remodeled, as were the café and general store, and the more than 15,000 square feet of conference space was refreshed.
The Grand Summit Hotel is part of Canyons Village at Park City. Its 212 lock-off suites provide planners with more than 290 lodging options, including traditional guest rooms, studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom suites and luxury penthouses. Many of the rooms have balconies, fireplaces, double showers and full kitchens with service for eight guests.
