Philadelphia's old Family Court Building could be transformed into a luxury hotel, as three developers -- Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, Starwood Hotels & Resorts and Kimpton Hotels -- have sent proposals to the city, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. The 72-year-old court building, at 18th and Vine near Logan Square and Benjamin Franklin Parkway, is being sold by the city because a new Family Court is expected to open  next year. A committee of city officials likely will review proposals through sometime this fall, according the report. The building is listed on Philadelphia's Register of Historic Places, meaning the exterior and much of the interior must be preserved.
