In January 2014, Radisson Blu will roll out Experience Meetings, a program designed to improve the effectiveness of meetings by emphasizing innovations in food and beverage, changes to spatial environments and advances in technology. Experience Meetings will include two main components: Brain Food, a catering program designed to increase attendees' concentration and reduce fatigue via locally sourced foods such as fish, whole grains, fruit and vegetables; and Brain Box, a meeting space designed to spur brainstorming via bright colors, flexible furniture and A/V. Experience Meetings also will include a smartphone app that meeting planners can use to access hotel information, post conference highlights, send push notifications to participants and directly contact hotel staff. Radisson Blu has offered the program in Europe since 2011.
