The East Course golf facility at Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Puerto Rico, has reopened following an 18-month revamp. The layout originally was designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., and the new work was overseen by his son, Robert Trent Jones Jr. That project marked the first phase of an overall refurbishment of the property, which will include the addition of a 115-room Ritz-Carlton Reserve, Ritz-Carlton Reserve Residences, set to open in December 2012, and a renovation of the resort's West Course, also to take place next year.
