The 121-room Renaissance Paris La République has opened near the French capital's Le Marais and Canal Saint Martin. Interior designer Didier Gomez created the contemporary look of the guest rooms and public spaces, which include a sculpture from Africa in the lobby, furnishings from Asia in the guest rooms and local Parisian street art throughout. Other offerings at the property include four meeting rooms; the Origin restaurant, headed up by renowned chef Bénédicte Van der Motte; the Martin Bar, which serves cocktails as well as afternoon tea and light eats; Spa O, which offers French treatments by Southy's; and complementary bicycles for guests to tour the neighborhood and city.

The property is the sixth Renaissance hotel in Paris, joining the 327-room Renaissance Paris La Défense; 122-room Renaissance Paris Le Parc Trocadéro; 118-room Renaissance Paris Arc de Triomphe; 110-room Renaissance Paris Hippodrome de St. Cloud, and 97-room Renaissance Paris Vendome.
