A five-year propertywide renovation of the 1,100-room Boston Marriott Copley Place has been completed. All guest rooms and the 47 suites have been redone, and the Concierge Lounge has been expanded. The 70,000 square feet of meeting space, including the 23,431-square-foot Grand Ballroom, have undergone upgrades to décor and infrastructure. The 22,500-square-foot Back Bay Conference and Exhibit Hall now can be divided into seven meeting rooms of 900 to 2,000 square feet, and three breakout rooms have been added to the first floor. In the lobby, the front desk has been moved and a new sitting area carved out. The new Champions restaurant is fully A/V equipped and offers an all-American grill menu and 36 beers on tap. The fitness center also has been upgraded.
