Renovations have finished up at the 428-room Seaport Hotel in Boston’s Seaport District. All guest rooms were redone, and the eatery has been reinvented as the TAMO Restaurant & Bar. Keeping sustainability in mind, energy-efficient lighting, heating and cooling systems have been installed, and an in-room recycling program begun. Each room also now includes a Telkonet energy management solution, which allows for better control of room lighting and temperature. The Seaport’s rooms also now feature complimentary wireless Internet access, Keurig coffee and tea service, and mini-fridges. The property offers more than 180,000 square feet of event space, including eight ballrooms, an exhibit hall, a high-tech amphitheater, private dining rooms and outdoor gardens.
