The 323-suite Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort in South Carolina has completed a rooms renovation, adding a contemporary Caribbean look. The project was the final part of a $17 million rejuvenation of the hotel, which also tackled the front entrance, the lobby, the meeting facilities, the fitness center and the Ocean Tides Spa. The outdoor areas also were redone, including the upper and lower courtyards, the beach and pool access; another fire pit was added near the deck of the HH Prime steakhouse, as was the Buoy Bar, a poolside area serving cocktails and light fare. The pool complex now features an adult pool, the Kid’s Splash Zone with a splash pad, and a new 3,600-square-foot family pool with a walk-in zero entry and ledge-seating along the dunes. The property offers 20,000 square feet of event space.
