The 484-room Renaissance Dallas Hotel, managed by Marriott International, has completed the final phase of a multimillion-dollar renovation. The first phase, completed in 2014, tackled the public areas and 51,753 square feet of meeting space.

The guest rooms were the focus this time, with new furnishings and an updated look now in place. Design firm FlickMars brought in classic materials such as marble and glass to complement the new modern furniture. The guest-room artwork, inspired by local scenery, features landscape murals.

"We are thrilled to have phase two of this renovation complete," said Chris Pilavakis, general manager of the downtown property, which is near the Market Center and the Design District. "Our new guest rooms reflect the influence of Dallas and have evolved to serve the Millennial, while still remaining attractive to the business and leisure traveler."

The property's nearly 52,000 square feet of meeting space is spread across 34 rooms. Amenities also include an outdoor rooftop pool and a 24-hour fitness center. The signature restaurant, Asador, serves Latin-influenced fare and locally sourced farm-to-table offerings.
