The 331-room Nines, a Starwood Luxury Collection Hotel in Portland, Ore., has finished a propertywide renovation that upgraded the guest rooms and public spaces, and added new items to the existing art collection. The meeting rooms also were redone and a new boardroom was added.

Each of the guest rooms and suites were repainted using the Nines' signature Tiffany blue hue and are now decorated with Chesterfield sofas, chairs and coffee tables. The 7,200-square-foot ballroom and prefunction areas were revamped with new wall coverings, lounge seating and carpets. The Club Lounge also was redone.

Off the lobby, the original Georgian Room is now a new event-space extension of the hotel's Urban Farmer steak house. An illuminated wine wall slides to split the space in two.

The property has a second restaurant, Departure, which offers Asian cuisine and has two outdoor decks. The fitness center is always open, the hotel is pet-friendly and guests enjoy an extensive art collection that has received new additions with the renovations.
