This week, an $11 million renovation is finishing up at the 1,200-room Hilton Americas-Houston. All guest rooms were redesigned, adding new luxury beds, HDTVs and work stations with ergonomic chairs. In addition, new carpeting has been place throughout the hotel's 91,500 square feet of meeting space and prefunction areas. The property is connected to the George R. Brown Convention Center and offers two restaurants, a lobby bar, a full-service spa and a health club.
