Last week, the 123-room Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles, opened as the final piece of the $2.5 billion sports, entertainment and hotel district in downtown Los Angeles known as L.A. LIVE. The hotel features the 8,000-square-foot Ritz-Carlton Spa with nine treatment rooms; Wolfgang Puck's WP24 restaurant, featuring a wine cave and two private dining rooms; the 3,400-square-foot Ritz-Carlton Club Lounge; a rooftop pool and bar; and the Gallery Collection, a 100,000-square-foot meeting and event space. The 54-story tower also houses the Ritz-Carlton Residences at L.A. LIVE and the 878-room JW Marriott Los Angeles at L.A. LIVE, which opened last month.
