Ritz-Carlton will operate a Ritz-Carlton Reserve property in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico, the hotel company announced Friday. The 124-villa boutique luxury property will open in 2014 along the Sea of Cortez beachfront. To be built on 30 acres within the Puerto Los Cabos mixed-use development, the hotel will offer private one-, two- and three-bedroom villas, each with with infinity plunge pools, terraces with fireplaces, outdoor showers and butler service. Also planned within the development are a spa, a desert botanical theme park, a fisherman's wharf, a 500-slip marina and two golf courses.
