Riviera Holdings Corp., which owns the 2,075-room Riviera Hotel & Casino on the north end of the Las Vegas Strip, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on Monday, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. More than three-quarters of the company’s debt holders supported the prenegotiated deal. The restructuring will not affect employees, vendors or customers of the property, according to the Riviera.
