A first round of renovations have been completed at the 732-room Hyatt Regency Bellevue (Wash.), which is nine miles from downtown Seattle. The $5.2 million, three-part project updated the 381 guest rooms in the hotel's original Cascade Tower and redesigned its lobby; work on its prefunction and ballroom space will finish up by the end of the year. The renovated lobby now features two interactive touch tables, created in cooperation with Microsoft Corp., Interknowlogy and Moncierge. The property offers more than 70,000 square feet of meeting space, 732 redesigned guest rooms, a 7,000-square-foot workout complex, four restaurants, a coffee shop and a deli.
