The 230-room Rotterdam Marriott Hotel has opened in the Netherlands port city, following extensive renovations. In the Millennium Tower opposite Rotterdam Central Station, the property was formerly the Manhattan Hotel Rotterdam.

The renovations brought modern amenities into the guest rooms and suites, and the lobby has been transformed. The Pillars Bar & Restaurant features a menu of small snacks, dishes to share and multicourse meals.

"We want our guests to experience forward-thinking, aesthetically pleasing spaces that help foster their inventive nature," said Matthew Carroll, vice president, Marriott Hotels. "Marriott Hotels has consistently pushed the boundaries of innovation in travel to create experiences that inspire and push our guests' creativity."

The Rotterdam Marriott Hotel offers free high-speed Internet access, a fitness center, an executive lounge, a business center and about 6,500 square feet of meeting space. The property also works with the nearby De Doelen International Congress Centre.
