The 200-room Sheraton Pittsburgh Airport Hotel opened late last week next to Pittsburgh International Airport, following a multimillion-dollar renovation. The property was previously the Crowne Plaza Pittsburgh–International Airport Hotel. The hotel features new Sheraton design standards, such as the Link@Sheraton Café social hub in the lobby, as well as oversized work desks, ergonomic chairs, high-speed Internet and LCD TVs in the guest rooms. The hotel offers about 9,000 square feet of meeting space in addition to a restaurant, a lounge, an outdoor pool and a renovated fitness facility. The property is Sheraton's second in the area, joining the 399-room Sheraton Station Square Hotel.
