The Sheraton Silver Spring Hotel has completed a $7.5 million renovation project, which tackled all 229 guest rooms and 18,000 square feet of meeting space, and added a Starbucks. The hotel's WiFi also has been upgraded to increase speed and accessibility.

All guest rooms now feature an oversized work desk, an ergonomic chair, a flat-panel television and the Sheraton Sweet Sleeper bed. Other amenities at the hotel include a full-service restaurant and lounge, an outdoor pool and a fitness facility featuring the Sheraton Fitness program from Core Performance.

"These recent upgrades are in keeping with the Sheraton-brand promise of providing exceptional accommodations in extraordinary settings," said Jeff Musselman, general manager of the property. "Improvements such as these help ensure guests of the Sheraton Silver Spring Hotel will continue to enjoy genuine hospitality in a relaxing and comforting environment."

The hotel is three blocks from the Silver Spring Metro Station for easy access to Washington, D.C., and its attractions.
