French hotel brand Sofitel, whose parent company is Paris-based AccorHotels, has opened the doors of its second property in Singapore, on Sentosa island. The 211-room Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa features four food-and-beverage outlets, a full-service spa with 20 treatment rooms, and more than 27 acres of landscaped and tropical public spaces.
It is the only hotel on the island that overlooks the South China Sea. The design blends contemporary interiors with the hotel's old colonial buildings, and reflects the brand's distinctive French flair. The renovated conference center, which encompasses 13,000 square feet of meeting space, features two ballrooms, 15 meeting rooms and several outdoor verandas for events.
