Starwood Hotels and Resorts debuted Starlab on Tuesday, the company's design and innovation studio in New York's Garment District. The facility features a tech lab, at which digital innovations for all of Starwood's nine brands will be tested, and serves likewise as an experimental office space.

Starlab highlights include a digital chandelier with a cascading Twitter feed; a smart mirror that doubles as a display for Starwood video news; Instagram feed frames scattered throughout, which show guests' Instagram posts throughout the world; a library with space for semiprivate meetings, and conference rooms that have been designed as luxury suites. Starlab was built to showcase innovation and foster collaboration among the company's associates, owners, developers, customers and partners.
