The 10-cabin Ranch at Emerald Valley has opened in Colorado's Pike National Forest. An extension of the Broadmoor resort in Colorado Springs, the all-inclusive, rustic ranch in the woods stands at more than 8,000 feet above sea level. Meals are served in the lodge's dining room, which also features a bar and a wraparound deck. The 10 cabins sleep 32, and the ranch also features two lakeside hot tubs and a fire pit. The Hill Cabin, which sleeps up to 10, has a chef’s kitchen, a deck and a private fire pit. Guests can go mountain biking, hiking, canoeing, fly-fishing and horseback riding, plus they have access to the rest of the Broadmoor's amenities, such as the spa and golf.
