The Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa announced its $13 million renovation last Friday. The nine-month process will give the 1,229-room hotel new public space on the third floor, two new restaurants, a new poolside lounge and bar, an upgraded pool deck and a new Regency Club. The property includes 19,500 square feet of meeting space, 2,050 square feet of prefunction space and 9,800 square feet of exhibit space. The hotel will remain open throughout the renovation process.
