Scheduled to debut in mid-2013, the Ritz-Carlton, Tianjin, in northeast China will offer 277 guest rooms and 17,491 square feet of meeting space. The property's signature restaurant will serve Cantonese fare and offer 10 private dining rooms, each featuring its own private wine cellar. Three additional food and beverage outlets are available for more informal dining. The property is set on the Haihe River and surrounded by 19th- and 20th-century European architecture, reflecting the nations that sought to trade with China through the Tianjin's port.
