Thompson Hotels' first Pacific Northwest property, the 158-room Thompson Seattle, has opened by Pike Place Market.

"We were driven to create a hotel that seamlessly combines the sophisticated, residential style that Thompson Hotels is known for with elements inspired by Seattle's aviation heritage and magnificent vistas of the breathtaking surrounding landscape." 

Modern and vintage furniture and fixtures of reclaimed woods were used inside, with artwork, wood-shelving details and architectural lighting fixtures sourced from local artisans. The rooms offer views of the Puget Sound and surrounding Olympic Mountains and feature 400-thread-count SFERRA linens, complimentary WiFi access and 42-inch Samsung Smart TVs.

The signature restaurant, Scout, and the rooftop lounge, the Nest, serve locally sourced cuisine and cocktails, such as shellfish from the Puget Sound, mushrooms from the Cascade Mountains and grass-fed beef from the eastern farmlands. More than 5,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space is available, and the Grasshopper and Dreamliner event spaces can be combined to host a reception for up to 150 people, while the Nest rooftop accommodates up to 250.
