The Troubadour, a 184-room Joie de Vivre property, will debut in New Orleans this fall. The Central Business District property is in a former office building that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The hotel will have two meeting rooms and a rooftop bar and event space that features installations created by street-artist Stikki Peaches. A restaurant, the Petit Lion, and a lobby bar will round out the amenities.

"We are thrilled to have the opportunity to add to the vibrancy of New Orleans by introducing the Troubadour," says Niki Leondakis, CEO of Commune Hotels & Resorts. "This city brings alive our brand and its 'joy of life' ethos. The Troubadour will offer guests an exciting range of modern and locally rooted experiences in an eclectic, Southern-inspired setting that we hope will become a part of New Orleans' storied history."
