This week, the UK-based hotel company Yotel announced that it will enter the U.S. market with the 669-room Yotel, Times Square, opening in 2011. The hotel will be part of a 1.2-million-square-foot, 60-story mixed-use development at 42nd Street and 10th Avenue, owned by the Related Companies, which will consist of residential units and the Signature Center, a theater complex designed by Frank Gehry. Hotel amenities will include complimentary Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs in guest rooms, a restaurant, a bar, meeting rooms, a club lounge and a large outdoor terrace.
